The brief involved the re-evaluation of the existing University Strategic Plan for 2002-2007. The work involved the assessment of the current accommodation with a view to decanting the Barking Campus and integrating the schools and the administration departments in the Docklands and Stratford Campuses, a reduction in space from 80,000m2 to 64,000m2.

Sara’s continued association with the University of East London has consisted of following through on the strategic planning; through setting a furniture budget and developing the furniture concept within the architectural vision, for a number of areas such as Learning Resource Centers, Engineering Labs, Seminar Rooms, Lecture Theaters, Hospitality and Academic Office space.
